Bella Voda is an ultra premium artesian water brand created to redefine presence in a saturated category. From its patented square bottle with vertical embossed branding to the translucent showcase box, every element was engineered to project exclusivity. With an identity rooted in purity and presence, Bella Voda launched into retail and nightlife venues and extended its story through a bold campaign that crowned it the king of premium water.

Directed brand development, structural packaging, and advertising campaign. Led bottle design and embossing strategy, coordinated with manufacturers on production, and created the visual language that carried through retail, packaging, and campaign rollout.

The premium water aisle is flooded with sameness: tall, round bottles, faint labels, and muted branding. Bella Voda needed a form and campaign narrative that would stand out instantly, justify its luxury positioning, and establish long-term brand recognition both in retail and nightlife settings.

Campaign Direction 

Extend the brand story into advertising that spoke with authority. Use royal symbolism ( crown, throne, decree) to frame Bella Voda as the chosen king of premium water.

Concept Development

Initial exploration focused on geometry, logo marks, and emboss treatments. Sketches of bottles and wordmarks narrowed the direction toward clarity and authority. The campaign narrative was built in parallel, inspired by royal proclamations to create a bold two-act story: “Here ye, here ye…” followed by “Let it be known across the land.”
 

Design Execution

• Bottle Design – Patented PET square bottle with rounded edges, engineered for retail presence and comfortable grip.
• Embossed Brand Mark – “BELLA VODA” embossed vertically into the bottle face for instant recognition.
• Showcase Box – Patent-pending translucent retail box designed for durability and clarity, highlighting the bottle as the hero.
• Materials & Finishes – High-grade clear PET with refined typography and subtle metallic accents.
 

Advertising Campaign

The campaign rolled out in two phases, designed as a royal proclamation:

The Bella Voda bottle crowned in gold, paired with the phrase “Here ye, here ye…”. A bold declaration that a new standard had arrived.

The bottle seated on a royal throne, declared with “Let it be known across the land.” The campaign closed with the tagline: “Long live the crown. Long live Bella Voda.” A proclamation of authority and permanence.

Production & Collaboration

Worked directly with manufacturers to design custom bottle molds and test material clarity for the translucent showcase box. Coordinated embossing details for crisp, consistent execution. Secured two awarded patents for the bottle and applied for patent protection on the retail box.

Results

• Launched in 285+ retail locations within weeks.
• Secured placement in premium nightlife venues where the bottle’s form factor became a visual centerpiece.
• Retail buyers cited the silhouette as “impossible to ignore” and highlighted its memorability under club lighting.
• Campaign extended the brand story beyond packaging, positioning Bella Voda as both product and symbol of luxury.

Reflection

Bella Voda proved that packaging and campaign storytelling can create a defensible market position. By uniting design, engineering, and narrative, the brand transformed bottled water into a crown jewel.
